Cut Polish & Wax

When it comes to restoring your car’s paint job and exterior auto detailing in Lethbridge, we can’t be beat! Cut, polish, and wax refer to different methods of maintenance that are provided to your car based on the types of damages present. Before determining the order of services that we need to provide to restore your pay, we will first need to assess the condition of your car and the severity of the damages that are caused. If you have a deep scratch in the service of the car, it will likely need to be restored using the cutting method, while other, lighter scratches can be removed using a polish. Both are then finished off with car wax. 
 
Cutting
Cutting is a term that is used to describe how we approach deeply engrained scratches that have penetrated past the top layer of your vehicle’s exterior surface. When you have a scratch in your vehicle that is quite deep, simply attempting to touch up the paint will not restore its appearance because the paint will seep into the scratch and only build up further rather than coating it evenly and softly on the surface. Instead, the cutting process is intended to the deep scratch so that paintwork can be evenly restored on the surface and blended in smoothly with the rest of the paint job.
 
Polish
If your car does not have deeply engrained damages and instead has minor damages that have slightly penetrated the surface but not extensively, these can usually be polished out using one of our high-quality polishing solutions. Polishing out minor damages is an easy way to restore the paint and without the more invasive solution of using the cutting method. Once your vehicle has been thoroughly polished, it is then finished off by completely waxed to give it a final shine that protects the paint.
 
Car Waxing
Car waxing is the final step when it comes to restoring the paint job of your car. Car wax was designed to protect the paint once it has been fully restored and is a great way to ensure that your paint is not only high-gloss and shiny but that it is thoroughly protected from future damages while it is freshly applied to the exterior of your vehicle. To apply the wax, we do so using a specialty soft cloth so that the wax can be evenly applied throughout the service of your car.
